Jimmie has presented his unique slide program of cattle and wildlife to various conventions and groups all over the state of Texas, New Mexico and Kansas.

He and his flying operation have appeared on “Good Morning America”, “P.M. Magazine” and “The Eyes of Texas” television programs. He has also been featured in “Professional Pilot” and “The Cattleman” magazines as well as feature articles in several newspapers. A select group of his Photographs have been exhibited at Conner Museum in Kingsville, Texas.

While each of these venues have been well received, they reached limited groups. The author was encouraged by many to share these stories and pictures that are one-of-a-kind;the majority have never been duplicated.

A pictorial book only was intended, but of course, each picture has a story to tell. Hence, these “adventures of a helicopter cowboy” evolved.

It is the Author’s intent and hope that the reader see, feel and hear the work of a brush country cowboy both in the air and on the ground.
